Text of Map of My Life

I wish I had a map to guide me through my life.
I could refer to it when I feel like I have no sense of direction.
These times when I feel the fear of moving forward into the unknown.
This map would reassure me that everything will be alright.
The map could show the detours that lead me off my path
but are still important for the lessons they reveal.
And also give warnings like pointing out dangerous curves or treacherous pitfalls.
My map might remind me to see the beauty that surrounds me.
The many people who have shown me love and respect.
The wondrous places to see and experience.
I could look at my map and see how far I had come.
It wold give me a sense of accomplishment.
I could see there are marvelous things yet to come.
I would be comforted to know I will not always be stuck here.
My map would show me the way out of bogs.
With a map of my life I may not get lost.
